Born in the heart of London, Anthony Bell's journey unfolded amidst the vibrant pulse of the 'Swinging 60s', an era of cultural revolution and artistic fervour. With a decade-long stint as a vocalist in the music industry, he sang melodies that echoed the spirit of the times. Fate intervened when he crossed paths with his wife, Marcia, leading him to embark on a new chapter in Brazil in 1978, where life unfurled amidst the rich tapestry of Brazilian culture.

Through the tumultuous 1980s, Anthony nurtured his family while immersing himself in the colours and rhythms of his adopted homeland. Yet, the call of his roots beckoned, and in 1991, he returned to England, seeking to reconnect with the essence of his being. Fuelled by a relentless quest for creative expression and the responsibilities of family life, Anthony navigated through life's myriad of landscapes.

My life in Brazil, inspired my paintings "Carnival No.1" and "Carnival No.2 with it's vibrant energy captured in these two video; Carnival No.1 above, No.2 blow.

 

Retirement at 70 marked the commencement of a new odyssey, as Anthony and Marcia set their sights on the sun-kissed shores of Southern Spain in 2020. Raised by artistic parents, Anthony's dormant creative spirit found its awakening. A journey of self-discovery unfolded, intertwining with the threads of abstract art history and the boundless realms of experimentation, as and up and coming abstract artist.

From this fertile soil emerged Anthony's unique abstract art, a testament to life lived across continents, imbibing the diverse hues of culture and experience. Abstract art became not just a medium but a conduit for his soul's expression, offering boundless possibilities of interpretation and revelation. His contemporary paints quickly began to find homes in Brazil, Spain and the United Kingdom.
