Abstract Artist Anthony Bell Launches His New Collection of Work Across Spain

This collection, primarily painted this year in his studio in Almeria, Spain, showcases his unique ability to capture the essence of his experiences and emotions through from a life lived across continents.
Born in London and deeply influenced by the cultural revolution of the '60s, Anthony Bell's artistic journey took a significant turn when he moved to Brazil in 1978. There, the vibrant colours and rhythms of Brazilian culture deeply influenced his work, as seen in pieces like "Carnival No.2," which captures the vibrant energy of Brazil's joyous carnivals.
This new collection includes remarkable works such as "Nod to Mr K No.2," (pictured above) inspired by the expressive style of Vasily Kandinsky, and "Flaming Glass," which portrays the explosive energy of a fiery blast within a building blowing out all the windows. "The Fury" reflects on the devastation, futility and hubris of war, while "Toxic Jungle No.2" draws inspiration from Bell's poignant poem and song that he wrote as a recording artist in 1982 while living in Brazil "Say Goodbye to Mother Earth," emphases the dire need for environmental conservation.
